HILDA MADER WILCOX ’46 was graduated from Antioch College, Ohio and received an MA from Northwestern University and has taught in Hawaii, the University of Texas at Austin, New Hyde Park in Long Island, Wagner College, SUNY Oneonta for 20 years. She has founded and edited a quarterly regional magazine called THE LEATHERSTOCKING JOURNAL, which accepted articles, poems and art from seven counties. She also founded the Writers Workshop of Central New York. Her poems were published in anthologies, including the Dell Press paperback, distributed nationally, called WALTZING ON WATER. POETRY BY WOMEN, published in 1989,contained four of her poems.
