SIDNEY FRIEDLANDER ’46 ran a General Insurance Agency and is active in community affairs. He founded Higby Hills
Country Club, active at Charles Sitrin Nursing Home and Jewish Community Center. In 1971 he founded the Mohawk
Valley State Bank and served as Chairman of the Board for 5 years. He was past treasurer of Utica Chapter of Multiple
Sclerosis Foundation and past President of Intersure, a national network of Independent Insurance Brokers. He was
honored by the Sitrin Home a few years ago at a banquet for all he has done.
